With over three decades in film, theatre and television, Sadie Frost is producer, actor, fashion designer and author, starring in such feature films as Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992), television dramas such as Uprising (2001), and working with directors including Francis Ford Coppola and Paul W.S Anderson.

In 1999, Sadie set up production company Natural Nylon with fellow actors Jude Law, Ewan McGregor and Jonny Lee Miller, which went on to produce eXistenZ (1999), Nora (2000), XX/XY (2002), To Kill a King (2003), Owning Mahowny (2003) and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (2004) which Sadie co-produced before setting up her own fashion label, Frost French, which she focussed extensively for the rest of the 2000s.

In 2012, Sadie co-founded Blonde to Black Pictures, producing Dotty (2013), Buttercup Bill (2014) and Set the Thames on Fire (2015).

In 2014, Sadie co-founded Blonde to Black Pictures Two, so far producing Rags (2016), Two for Joy (2018) and Running Man (2019).

Co-Founder | Producer: Andrew Green

Andrew Green is an experienced financier with over 30 years in the industry. He is Managing Director of Grosvenor Bridging Loans, specializing in short term property loans for developers and portfolio investors.

Andrew is also a successful seed funder and holds significant investments in an impressive portfolio of profitable creative companies in the areas of tech, film, fashion, pharmaceutical and music.

Andrew has over 20 years experience in the media industry, during which time he has produced a wide variety of music videos, commercials, shorts and feature films.

In 2012, Andrew co-founded Blonde to Black Pictures, producing Dotty (2013), Buttercup Bill (2014) and Set the Thames on Fire (2015).

In 2014, Andrew co-founded Blonde to Black Pictures Two, so far producing Rags (2016), Two for Joy (2018) and Running Man (2019).

Emma Comley is an experienced producer of music videos and commercials with over 20 years in the industry.

Former Head of Production and Executive Producer at Flynn Productions, Emma has produced videos for the likes of the Foo Fighters and Jay-Z, while boasting commercial credits for leading brands including Nike, HTC, Smirnoff and Nokia.

In 2012, Emma co-founded Blonde to Black Pictures so she could create original, culturally relevant stories which excite and entertain audiences, producing Dotty (2013), Buttercup Bill (2014) and Set the Thames on Fire (2015).

In 2014, Emma co-founded Blonde to Black Pictures Two, so far producing Rags (2016), Two for Joy (2018) and Running Man (2019).

Producer: Simon Jones

Simon Jones started his career in the industry as a Film Journalist before joining the University of West London as a Senior Lecturer in Film where he gained his MA Film and MSc Video Production and led on the scripting of educational training videos and the creation of multi-media academic content for the NHS. In recent years, Simon has worked as a writer, producer and executive producer on a number of shorts including the documentary Inside Out and the award winning Edelweiss (2017). In 2019 Simon joined Blonde to Black to support the development of a wide range of new film and television projects.

Production Assistant: Jade Davidson

Jade Davidson is a talented actress whose career in film and television spanned over 10 years, with appearances in Doctors, Casualty and Flood (2007) starring Robert Carlye, David Suchet and Tom Hardy. In recent years, Jade has moved away from acting to work the other side of the camera, working as a Production Assistant on films such as Dotty (2013), Set the Thames on Fire (2015), Rags (2016) and Two for Joy (2018) starring Samantha Morton, Billie Piper and Daniel Mays.

Chris Turner is a British commercial, music video and film director whose recent film projects have been screened at prestigious festivals around the world. Chris has worked with many well-known brands such as Jaguar, Adidas, BMW and Sony and artists such as Birdy, the Kooks and Jay-Z. Known for his in-camera blend of technical genius and visual artistry, he has won both One Show Gold and D&AD awards and his latest black comedy / psychological horror short Running Man (2019) produced by Blonde to Black.

Tom Beard has shot everyone from Florence + The Machine and FKA Twigs to All Saints and Jamie T, winning awards for both his album covers and music videos. Tom’s personal photography and film making is a much more downbeat, street-wise affair – his latest intense, unflinching and beautifully provocative short film Rags (2015) and gritty coming of age feature debut Two for Joy (2018) are both produced by Blonde to Black.

Ben Charles Edwards is a British film director and writer who began his career working as a photographer both in London and Los Angeles. Ben is best known for award winning short films Animal Charm (2012), The Town That Boars Me (2008) and Dotty (2013), and for both Will Nature Make a Man of me Yet? (2016) and his feature debut Set the Thames on Fire (2015) that were both produced by Blonde to Black’s Sadie Frost and Emma Comley.

Director: Emilie Richard-Froozan & Remy Bennett

Director: Emilie Richard-Froozan & Remy Bennett

Émilie Richard-Froozan and Rémy Bennett have known each other since they were teenagers when they were both studying abroad in Dublin. Rémy became Émilie’s muse, and the two continued to work with one another creatively on and off throughout their diverse lives, making their first short together Rufur in 2010. These years of collaborating culminated into the making of Buttercup Bill (2014) which was produced by Blonde to Black’s Sadie Frost and Emma Comley.
